Practices beginning for Special Olympics basketball

Dec. 06--The Leavenworth County Special Olympics program will begin their basketball season with two upcoming organizational practices at Warren Middle School. The first practice is Saturday, Dec. 15, from 9:15-11 a.m. The second is 6:30-8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 19.
It is open to individuals who are 8 years old and older with some form of intellectual and/or developmental disability. Athletes should come dressed for participation and can bring a water bottle. Practice schedules will be handed out at these sessions. All participants will need a current physical and signed permission form. These will be available at both sessions.
