Knockout Fit Club raises funds for Autism Awareness

June 02-- Jun. 2--Knockout Fit Club in Bemidji held its annual fundraiser for Autism Awareness Month throughout the month of April. A zumba master class, Autism Awareness T-shirt sales and private donations raised a total of $1,450. The proceeds were given to local school programs that serve children and young adults with autism and their families. Donations were given to the Lincoln EXCEL program, the DAPE programs at Gene Dillon Elementary School, Bemidji Middle School and Bemidji High School, as well as the Early Intervention/Special Education program.
