In Randolph, an inclusive dance party for the sensory sensitive

Jun. 17--A dance designed for children on the autism spectrum will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday, June 20 at Randolph Elks Lodge, 21 School St., Randolph.
The Come as You Are Dance Party is hosted by Diamond Is The Sky, a Worcester-based organization that plans social activities for individuals with special needs The group strives to provide a supportive and inclusive environment.
Children and young adults ages 8 to 21 can participate in sensory-friendly karaoke, dancing and other activities. There will be a separate area for attendees who need a break from the action. Food will also be available.
The organizers stress the dance is open to everyone. "You can have autism or other special needs or no special needs."
