Program will explore 'Panic Disorder From the Inside Out'

A program titled "Panic Disorder From the Inside Out" will be presented Thursday, Sept. 28, at Athens Public Library, 30 Home St., from 6:30 to 8 p.m., as part of the NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) Athens Speaker Series. It will be led by Rachel Gerainger, an Ohio State University master's degree candidate in public health and a writer/communications specialist for NAMI Ohio.
According to a press release, Gearinger has experienced panic attacks since early in her undergraduate career. In addition to defining and discussing her experiences with panic disorder, Gearinger will talk about how she combats and lives with her disorder.
