Portsmouth Neuropsychology expands its professional team
Hires clinical psychologist and tutor
Portsmouth Herald - 5/13/2018
Portsmouth - Portsmouth Neuropsychology Center LLC (PNC), a private clinical psychology practice, recently strengthened its team by adding two gifted providers to its organization. New hires Dr. Carrie Chiasson and Linda Martin will further improve the center's ability to meet the increasing demand for educational and therapeutic services.
A specialist in anxiety disorders and trained in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Dr. Chiasson will provide psychotherapy for children, adolescents, and adults. Martin, proficient in the Orton-Gillingham approach, an evidence-based, multi-sensory program for struggling readers, will tutor PNC's clients in reading, writing, and handwriting. Martin will also provide executive skills coaching. The pair will join Dr. Laura Rubin and Dr. Lauren Cook, both clinical psychologists at PNC, who specialize in neuropsychological evaluations and psychotherapy.
"I am thrilled to welcome both Carrie and Linda to PNC," said Dr. Rubin. "Our team is well-equipped to serve the needs of children with complex learning and social-emotional challenges. We are an organization who values proper evaluation and understands the importance of clinical treatment and tutoring."
