Mentally ill woman found naked on floor, suffering from rodent bites
Northwest Florida Daily News - 10/31/2018
Oct. 31--CRESTVIEW -- A 33-year-old man faces felony elderly neglect charges after leaving a family member naked on the floor for five days without food or water.
Johnny Ray Frazier offered no explanation as to why he'd left his mentally ill relative on the floor, covered in bodily fluids and suffering from a large rodent bite on her leg, according to his Crestview Police Department arrest report.
The victim was wearing the same hospital gown she'd been discharged in five days earlier, emergency personnel noted.
Frazier did say she was unable to care for herself and refused help, the report said.
When charging him with neglect, the officer informed Frazier that it was his responsibility to provide care for his aunt.
